Paying employees for Public Holidays over the Christmas and New Year period
Boxing Day this year falls on Saturday 26th Dec, and the Day after New Years on Saturday 2nd January, for most of us these holidays will be recognised on the Monday following, but for some it will still be recognised on the Saturday so I thought I would clarify how these public holidays are to be paid.
