Sales Manager

Born in the UK, then moving to NZ in September 2010, Richard joined Strategic Software on the 4th July this year. With a degree in Computer Science and 23 years of Sales and Marketing experience, Richard has spent his career selling complex Software and Hardware solutions and ran his own successful IT, Sales and Business Consultancy before departing the shores of the UK.

The past 6 years in New Zealand have been spent working for two corporate heavyweights in the guise of Canon and Fairfax Media and he now joins Strategic Software as our Sales Manager, responsible for revenue growth and customer relations. Richard is looking forward to a future working in an environment where his experience can help grow an established and forward thinking company. Richard has spent his entire working career in front line ‘client-facing’ roles and firmly believes in a ‘customer first’ approach to his engagement with his customers. Richard knows that by understanding your business he can help you achieve your goals for productivity, efficiency and profitability and is looking forward to meeting you all in the course of the next little while.


A man of strong family values, Richard now calls the friendly community of Brighton, Dunedin home and when not at work enjoys spending time with his wife, three children and one grandchild – feel free to tell him he doesn’t look old enough! Richard loves nothing more than taking time out to relax on the beach or to take the truck packed full of the family and explore the beautiful Otago and Southland countryside and coastline and enjoy the myriad of wildlife along the way.
